One day, Urashima Taro was walking along the beach when he saw
a crowd of boys tormenting a turtle. They had turned the turtle onto its
back and were pelting it with stones and shells.
He scolded the boys and chased them away. The turtle was not badly hurt, so Urashima turned the turtle right side up and watched as it slowly crawled back into the ocean. |
