Urashima Taro tipped over the edge of his boat and
fell into the sea.
Once on the turtle's back, he found himself rushing at great speed down to the deepest part of the ocean. He found to his surprise that he was able to breathe underwater as naturally as if he had done so all his life. Soon, he and the turtle arrived at the king's palace. He was greeted as a hero, and given a tour of the king's underwater realm. |
