Please stand 6 feet apart

How is the coronavirus pandemic affecting your life right now? Tell us about your experiences, feelings, and thoughts.

Now that I'm vaccinated, the pandemic has subsided to the level of a persistent irritation, like a piece of gravel in your shoe, a low-grade fever, or being stuck on hold with elevator music

Nevertheless. When I'm grasping for a stray mask to get into the office or a grocery store; when I see someone approaching on a sidewalk and wonder if I should avoid getting in their air space; when I hear about supplies being temporarily unavailable, I remember, "We are still in a global pandemic"

When I make sure to spend an extra few seconds to thoroughly wash my hands; when I set up an event that is both in-person and via Zoom; when I reflect on the 69 people who died in the state last week due to Covid -- yeah, the pandemic is still affecting my life
