United We Stand

United we stand, divided we fall

I respect the office of the President of the United States, and the ideal of a government by the people, of the people, and for the people.

Part of what makes this country great is the ability to criticize the government and its representatives.

I am not a fan of the current President, Donald Trump:

Maybe you don't think the COVID-19 epidemic is the President's fault, but the lack of a coordinated federal response led to outbreak after outbreak.

Donald Trump's lack of leadership on masks, on testing, on contact tracing is killing people, and his lying and sowing of distrust of news and science is so confusing that no one knows what to think.

Oh, but when it comes to calling other people names, he's a leader.

As the Washington Post puts it,

He is everything the Bible tells us not to be: vain, selfish, covetous, mendacious, adulterous

Is that really who you want to vote for in November?

As a kind, decent, compassionate, and empathetic person, Joe Biden exemplifies American values. He cares about policies that help the poor, clean our environment, and welcome immigrants.

Donald Trump never served in public office before his Electoral College win. He just isn't adequate to the job.

Joe Biden served 36 years as a senator and then worked as Vice President for eight years, I believe Joe Biden understands what it means to be President.

I can't wait to vote for Joe Biden this fall.
