One summer I was gardening a lot and I must have brushed up against some poison ivy.
For awhile I had no reaction but after a few days I began to itch in several spots on my body.
They were wonderful to scratch.
I'd run my hands under hot water, scratching and biting.
It felt so good.
The spots began to itch more fiercely, mutating into oozing pink open wounds.
It began to spread all over my body, breaking out even in places that hadn't been exposed to the poison ivy.
It was so bad.
